My name is Lisa Coleman and I'm beginning my 17th year with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
I'm a coach's wife of 36+ years. My husband, Steve, is the Head Baseball Coach at Hardin-Simmons University and is in his 22nd year there, with a grand total of 35 years in the coaching profession. Our oldest son, Chad, is a varsity assistant football and baseball coach at Abilene Cooper. Our youngest son, Brad, is the Pitching Coach at McMurry University. My daddy coached for a while when I was in elementary school, so coaches and athletes have ALWAYS been a part of my life. Our daughter-in-law, Lori, joins me in the ranks of coach's wives and I love watching her put her own mark on what it means to her. Tucker Ray Coleman, our first grandchild, arrived on Feb 20, 2014, and changed our lives AND expanded our hearts FOREVER, in ways we didn't even know to wish for! Then, we were blessed, once again - but TWICE - with twin grand daughters - Taylor Kristian Coleman and Taytum Everett Coleman. They joined us on April 19, 2018 and we are in full-blown CIRCUS MODE! I am an obnoxious grandmother. No apologies! Just SO. MANY. PICTURES.
I am humbled, daily, by the call that God has placed on my life through my work with FCA. The blessings are many! I would love the opportunity to work with you, your team and/or your campus if you're interested. I started out as the Administrative Assistant, 17years ago and have done a little bit of everything, as the need would come. I've loved every single part! I now serve as the Community and Events Director for our area. If there is a need that you have, whether it be through your campus, your team, your church, your organization or you just need a grandmotherly presence to talk to or meet with, I'm your gal!
